Creature Mark
Interpretive Design/Graphic Design/Digital Design
Objective:
This project aimed to use basic design components to depict a creature with distinct physical, behavioral, and personality characteristics.
Research:
The African bush elephant is known for its massive size and distinctive features. I chose to emphasize its large ears, sharp tusks, sturdy body, rounded feet, and long trunk. Although elephants are powerful animals, I associate them with being calm, peaceful, and empathetic. My goal was to capture the balance between their strength and gentle nature through the shapes and overall form of my creature mark.
